Scott Bennett is Chief Technology Officer at IPS and is responsible, among other things, for overseeing industry certifications for the company. He played a key role in enabling IPS to attain secure status with American Express, MasterCard and VISA.

IPS is certified, in full compliance, with the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard (DSS) by a PCI-qualified security assessor. IPS also is rated, in full compliance, with the security components of both the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) and the Healthcare Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) by an independent GLBA/HIPAA compliance and security assessment audit firm.

The IPS network layers include firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention with monitoring provided 24/7. The systems layer includes strong authentication, authorization and accounting controls. The physical layer includes closed circuit television (CCTV), physical barriers and electronic access controls, with multiple levels of alarm monitoring systems.

IPS meets and exceeds the requirements set forth under PCI, HIPAA, and GLBA guidelines for technical, administrative and physical security.
